Servicing single men and women, couples and families. Each person/group in the program is assigned to a cubicle. Shelter is open from 5:30pm-8:30am. Apply at Care-A-Van: 3020 Waialae Ave. M-F 1:00pm-4:00pm. No appointments taken. Interviews conducted on a first come, first serve basis. Entry is not same day as interview. Program fees apply.

Sleeping arrangements are mats on the floor of a gymnasium; guests receive a mat, a pillow, a small locker, and are assigned as case manager; dinner is served at about 6:30 PM; entry is from 5:30-7:30 PM and all guests must leave by 7:30 AM; guests must be continent and able to get up and down to mats unassisted; there are no showers. First come, first serve to shelter openings.

Transitional shelter for homeless, severely mentally ill adults. Access to basic services including, meals, clothing, laundry, showers, telephone, and a mailing address. Residents have a private room with common kitchen, bathrooms and dining facility, with 24-hour support available from residential staff. On site programs include outreach, case management, psychiatry, nursing, rehabilitation activities, and community placement services.

Emergency Shelter to the unsheltered individuals and families living on the beach, parks, streets, vehicles, abandon buildings with preference to the Waianae Coast and the White Plains area of Barber's Pt. Services offered include but not limited to: health, relationship, education, finances, employment and housing. Early education and youth mentoring are available through partnership with PID-Ka Pa'alana. Health assessments provided by HPU Nursing Program.
